Arethusa started life as the beautiful gaff rigged cutter you see below. In the mid 50's, after an altercation with Farewell Spit, she was converted to a launch. Constructed of kauri and pohutukawa, she clicks over 107 years in the water September this year. She's had a colourful history, if you have any Arethusa stories, we'd love to hear them.
